The most successful fair for MKT!

As the world’s leading trade fair for furniture manufacturing and interior design, the trade fair attracted around 62,000 visitors to Cologne this year. MKT was one of 1.600 exhibitors from 59 countries who were allowed to display their innovations and presented itself with a new booth concept in a perfect location. We made more trade fair contacts than ever before and can proudly say: this was the most successful trade fair for MKT!

Design Alliance - a successful partnership

In cooperation with our design alliance partners, we presented a lot of extraordinary decors. Lamigraf and Decor Druck Leipzig took part for the first time. As a further highlight, we were Interprint’s exclusive edging partner and showed our perfectly matched edgebands for 20 new Interprint décors.

INTERPRINT

For the first time in our partnership with Interprint, we showed 20 brand-new decors as exclusive edgebanding partner. These included the LINIA decor, a harmonious wood decor, and STAN, a stone decor. The digital print designs PESCALI, AURUM and ENZO attracted a lot of attention and showed that the possibilities in digital printing are almost limitless.

SCHATTDECOR

Schattdecor has been our partner for many years. This year, we have produced the matching edgebands for the exciting new decors.
We particularly liked the combination of CALIFORNIA ELM and HALONG.
As another highlight we presented the cooperation between Schattdecor and Fine Decor. Under the name fineFLEX, they showed together the latest designs in sustainable lacquer laminate surfaces.

LAMIGRAF

We are pleased about the cooperation with our new design alliance partner Lamigraf. At our booth we presented the brand new decors. For example BRISA, a sandstone decor, which creates a real 3D effect.
Or TRAMONTO - a modern decor available in 3 different colors.

DECOR DRUCK LEIPZIG

As a further member of our partnership, we were able to win the decor foil manufacturer DDL from Leipzig. For the first time in cooperation we presented the brand new wood decors BAYSEN OAK, WALLACE OAK,
BARTEX NATURE and EDELESCHE. Matching to this we showed our finished
ALPHA-TAPE® edges.

CONTINENTAL

Also present again this year - our decor alliance partner Continental. The specialist for matte surfaces presented an innovative solid color series and we presented our perfect edges in Excellent Matt. Properties such as soft touch, anti-fingerprint, scratch resistance, chemical and light resistance were convincing for both products.

At our booth, we used two impressive decors to demonstrate the high quality of our digital edges and the possibilities this modern printing technology offers for the future. Using other exhibits, we were able to discuss the advantages and challenges of digital printing in many interesting conversations.

STOPGAP STARTER KIT

In addition to the well-known products STOPGAP PEN and STOPGAP FLUID, we presented our latest offer: STOPGAP STARTER KIT. We have optimized our hydrophobing agent for mechanical, industrial use and now offer it including hardware. A perfectly matched complete system for simplified start-up.

TAPIO GMBH

For the first time we presented ourselves with a sub-exhibitor - the company tapio.
It offers the technological basis of digital applications for carpenters, furniture manufacturers and panel processors. The aim is to directly connect suppliers such as panel manufacturers, adhesive manufacturers and also edgeband manufacturers with the processing companies and their machines. In this way, a wide range of data can be exchanged and all connected processes can be simplified and optimized.

Our ALPHA-TAPE® METALLICA LIGHT products are based on modern printing technology
in impressive quality. In addition to the premium real metal surfaces of
