ALPHA-TAPE® Metal Effect
For quite some time now, MKT has increasingly been using metal pigments in the printing of ALPHA-TAPE®edges. The result is a wide variety of refined decors and solid colors for different applications. A new generation of pigments combined with an improving printing technology makes it possible to harmoniously integrate metal tones as accent colors into the printed image of the décor or to use them specifically as an eye-catcher for plain colors.
Metallic effects, silver shades and metallic colors become more and more indispensable and are also an integral part of décor development at leading board manufacturers by now. MKT decided to specifically expand and further develop this type of product, which is also extremely demanding in terms of printing technology.
To enable better differentiation, all ALPHA-TAPE® edging with metal pigments are listed as "ME" (Metal Effect) rather than "HR". ALPHA-TAPE® Metal Effect is available for all standard ABS and PP edging, as well as for ALPHA-TAPE ZERO® and our soft-forming product ALPHA-TAPE® FLEXIBLE.
