ZOW 2010 - Simply brilliant

Das neueste Produkt aus der MKT-Produktpalette, Alpha Tape ® brilliance, stieß auch auf der ZOW 2010 bei den Kunden auf sehr großes Interesse. Alpha-Tape® brilliance ist eine PP-Kante mit Tiefen-Effekt und entspricht besonders den Wünschen von Kunden, für die eine neuartige optische Eleganz im Fokus steht, ohne dabei aber die Wirtschaftlichkeit eines Produkts aus den Augen zu verlieren.
Basierend auf dem ökologisch unbedenklichen Werkstoff PP vereint Alpha-Tape® brilliance Transparenz, mit dem Effekt einer dreidimensionalen Optik und der Brillanz eines nahezu unsichtbaren Übergangs von der Kante zur Platte. Diese neuartige Optik wird durch rückseitiges Bedrucken der Kante ermöglicht. Auch sonst setzt Alpha- Tape® brilliance neue Maßstäbe: Durch die neuartige Entwicklung einer individuellen Oberflächenlackierung ist es uns möglich, gezielt auf Kundenwünsche  einzugehen und den Glanzgrad von Alpha- Tape® brilliance von matt bis hochglänzend abzustimmen. Eine Nacharbeitung der Oberflächenlackierung ist nicht notwendig.

Aber nicht nur die Entwicklung neuer Produkte steht im Mittelpunkt, sondern auch die kontinuierliche Weiterentwicklung von Dekoren. So sind Matt/Glanzlackierungen ein aktuelles Thema bei MKT. Die kontrastreiche Kombination von matten und glänzenden Flächen setzt einen beeindruckenden Akzent. Dekorative Fantasie- und Steindekore verleihen den Kanten eindrucksvolle Wertigkeit und ermöglichen die Schaffung neuer Einrichtungstrends im Retro-Stil. MKT zeigte aber auch den Klassiker Alpha-Tape® metallica mit Dekordruck in Matt-Glanz-Optik. Mithilfe dieser Veredelungstechnik entwickeln unsere Dekorspezialisten neue Oberflächenqualitäten. Wir freuen uns, diese unseren Kunden in Kürze präsentieren zu können.

Generell ist das Thema Oberflächen zurzeit enorm wichtig. Das zeigt auch die starke, ungebrochene Nachfrage nach besonders authentischen Prägungen. Getreu unserem aktuellen Motto “Inspired by Nature - Designed by MKT“ haben wir besonders charakteristische Prägungen entwickelt, um die Dekore gezielt in ihrer plastischen Wirkung zu verstärken. Diese Prägungen standen selbstverständlich im Mittelpunkt unserer neuen Messepräsentation und werden auch weiterhin in unserer Unternehmensbroschüre an zentraler Stelle zu finden sein. Und auch in Zukunft werden wir das Zusammenspiel von Druckbild, Prägung und Glanzgrad und damit die „natürliche” Wirkung kontinuierlich verbessern.

ZOW 2010 - Simply brilliant

The latest product in the MKT product range, Alpha Tape ® brilliance, again attracted a lot of attention from customers at the ZOW 2010. Alpha-Tape® brilliance is a PP edge band with a three-dimensional effect, and will be of particular interest to customers that require a product with a modern visual elegance that is also cost-effective. Alpha-Tape® brilliance is based on PP, an eco-friendly material that combines the transparency of Alpha-Tape® brilliance with a 3D effect and the brilliance of an almost seamless transition between the edge and the panel. This new visual effect is achieved by printing the rear side of the edge. But this is not the only area where Alpha-Tape® brilliance sets new standards. Thanks to the innovation of individual surface finishing, we are able to meet customers’ different requirements for gloss, ranging from matt to high-gloss, and thus eliminating the need for any reworking of the surface finish. 

The focus was not just on new product developments, however – a lot of attention was also given to the continual refinement of designs. A hot topic at MKT was matt and gloss finishes and the impressive effect that can be achieved by combining and contrasting the two. Decorative fantasy and stone designs provide edging that is not only impressive in its own right, but also enables the creation of retro-style interiors. MKT also had on display the classic Alpha-Tape® metallica, featuring decorative prints with matt-gloss effect. This new processing technique allows our design specialists to create new surface characteristics, and we look forward to presenting these to our customers in the near future.

The topic of surface is generally attracting considerable attention at the moment, a trend supported by the continued demand for authentic embossing. True to our current motto “Inspired by Nature – Designed by MKT”, we have developed some particularly distinctive embossed patterns which are designed to amplify the 3D effect. These embossed designs naturally became the centre of attention at our new stand at the fair, and will continue to be a key feature of our company brochure. And we will of course continue to improve the “natural effect” by further developing the interaction between print, embossing and gloss.
